Our Commitment
That Girl's Nails wants everyone to be able to learn about our services and book an appointment, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
The Standard We Follow
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. That includes text that has enough color contrast to read, every image that carries information described in text, forms with clear labels and error messages, and a site that can be used with a keyboard alone. We test the site with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard, and we review it again when we make changes.
High Contrast Colors
Our site is shown in our brand's light pinks, and some text in those colors is lighter than WCAG asks for. Every page has a High contrast button in the bottom-left corner, marked with the accessibility symbol. Select it to switch the whole site to deeper colors that meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and select it again to switch back. Your choice is remembered on that device. If your device is set to increase contrast, the site starts in high contrast for you.
Book Without the Website
If any part of the website gets in your way, we will book your appointment for you, with the same services, prices and offers you would get online. Reach us any of these ways:
- Call or text: (214) 916-1798
- Email: thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com
- Instagram direct message: @thatgirlsnailsdtx
Tell Us About a Problem
If something on this site is hard to use, please let us know what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix the problem as soon as we can.
Known Limitations
- In our standard colors, some pink text, white text on pink, and our script headings are below the WCAG contrast minimum. The High contrast button described above fixes this on every page.
- A few decorative script headings on our home page, such as “Meet Your Tech” and “Booking Policies,” are drawn as images. Each one carries the same words as text for screen readers, and everything beneath them is ordinary text.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe, and the maps on our site are provided by OpenStreetMap. We rely on those providers for the accessibility of their parts of the page. The general location is also given as text, and the exact address is sent with your booking confirmation.
