1. Introduction

That Girl's Nails ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at thatgirlsnails.com, book an appointment, or interact with us via text message or email.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number
• Booking Information: Appointment date/time, services selected, nail preferences, and inspiration photos you upload
• Consent Records: Whether you agreed to appointment text messages, promotional text messages, or promotional emails, and when (see Section 4)
• Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your credit card numbers
• Account Information: If you create an account, we store your login credentials (password is encrypted)
• Communications: Messages you send us via SMS, email, or our website
• Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and other analytics data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule and manage your nail appointments
• Process payments, including the deposit some appointments require
• Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates by email, and by text message if you opt in (see Section 4)
• Send promotional text messages only if you separately opt in to them, and promotional emails only if you ask to receive them
• Measure how well our advertising works (see Section 8)
• Improve our website and services
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

4. Text Message (SMS) Communications

We text only people who ask us to. When you book at thatgirlsnails.com/book, the “Your Details” step has two separate, optional text-message boxes, both unchecked by default: one for texts about your appointment, and one for promotional texts. Neither is required to book, and consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase.

What we collect. Your mobile phone number, which of the two boxes you ticked and when you ticked it, and the appointment you booked. If you reply to one of our texts, including STOP or HELP, our text-message provider, Twilio, keeps a record of that reply so it can honor it.

How we use it. If you ticked the appointment box, we text you about that appointment: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and reschedule or cancellation notices. If you ticked the promotional box, we may also text you about specials and new services, up to 4 messages per month. We never send promotional texts to anyone who ticked only the appointment box. Twilio answers HELP requests and honors STOP requests on our behalf, and we keep a record of your consent.

Message frequency varies; promotional texts are limited to 4 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also contact us at thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com or (214) 916-1798.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services, and the service providers that run and store our booking records solely on our behalf and may not use the information for any other purpose. Your phone number and your text-message consent are never sent to any advertising, marketing or analytics company, in any form, including hashed.

5. Google Calendar Integration

To keep the salon's schedule accurate, That Girl's Nails integrates with Google Calendar. When you book, reschedule, or cancel an appointment on thatgirlsnails.com, the corresponding event is created, updated, or deleted on a dedicated salon calendar owned by That Girl's Nails (thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com).

What the salon calendar contains: The event title shows your name and the services you booked. The private event description lists your name, phone number, email address (if you gave one), the services, any booking notes you provided, and a link to manage the appointment, so the salon owner can reach you about that appointment. Payment details and your text-message consent are not sent to Google Calendar. Google holds this information only as the salon's calendar provider; it is never used for marketing or advertising.

Who can see the event: Only the salon owner. The "TGN Bookings" calendar is not shared publicly and is not shared with other customers.

Scopes requested: When the salon owner connects the salon's Google account, we request thehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.eventsscope, which allows creating, editing, and deleting individual events on the dedicated salon calendar, plus the basic openid and email scopes, used only to show which Google account is connected. We do not request access to your personal Google Calendar, other calendars on the account, or any other Google services.

Data retention and deletion: The calendar event is deleted automatically when you cancel your appointment. If you would like past appointment events removed from the salon calendar, email thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com and we will delete them within 7 days. Our use of data from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers that run our business on our behalf and may use your information only to provide their service to us: Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (card payments), Twilio (delivering text messages), Resend (email), Supabase (data storage), Google Calendar (the salon's appointment calendar, described in Section 5), and Expo (notifications in our mobile app, if you use it).
• Advertising measurement: to see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads actually bring people to us, we send Meta the information listed in Section 8. It never includes your phone number or your text-message consent.
• Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect our rights.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are handled only as described in Section 4. They are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services, and the service providers that run and store our booking records solely on our behalf.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the booking form working, remember your preferences, and count visits. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

Advertising cookies and the Meta Pixel

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To understand whether those ads actually bring people to us, our website uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit our site, the Pixel may record:

• Pages you view and actions you take on them — for example opening the booking page, starting checkout, or completing a booking
• Your IP address, browser and device information, and the page you arrived from
• Identifiers Meta sets or supplies, including its browser cookie (_fbp) and the click identifier attached to an ad link (fbclid / _fbc)

The Pixel is not set up to collect what you type into our booking form, including your phone number.

Information we send to Meta from our server

In addition to the browser Pixel, we use Meta's Conversions API to tell Meta when a booking is completed, so our ad results are counted even when a browser blocks the Pixel. That report contains: the type of event (a completed booking or a card payment) and, where there is one, its value; the page on our site where you arrived; a hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address and of our internal customer number; your IP address and browser details; and the Meta cookie and ad-click identifiers described above. It never contains your phone number, in any form, or whether you agreed to receive text messages from us.

Meta's handling of the information it receives is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Where you came from

When you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we store the campaign details from that link (such as utm_source, utm_campaign, and the ad click identifier) in a cookie on your device for up to 90 days, and attach them to a booking if you make one. This tells us which ad brought you here. It is stored with your booking record and is not used to build a profile of you.

Your choices

You can opt out of this kind of advertising without affecting your ability to book with us:

• Adjust what Meta shows you in your Facebook Ad Preferences or Instagram ad settings
• Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use a private browsing window
• Use your device's tracking controls, such as App Tracking Transparency on iPhone and iPad
• Email us at thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of promotional emails at any time
• Opt out of text messages, including promotional texts, by replying STOP to any text message

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
