How we collect consent for text messages
How You Opt In
When booking an appointment on our website at thatgirlsnails.com/book, you are asked for your name, phone number and email on the “Your Details” step. Further down that same step, below the notes and photo upload, are two separate text-message checkboxes, reproduced below: one for appointment texts and one for promotional texts. Both are unchecked by default and both are optional — the booking completes whether or not either is ticked, so consent is never a condition of service. We only text phone numbers that ticked a box, and only the kind of message that box describes.

1. Appointment texts
By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from That Girl's Nails about my appointment — confirmations, reminders and any schedule changes. Optional — not required to book. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms & Privacy Policy.
2. Promotional texts
By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated promotional text messages from That Girl's Nails about specials and new services at the number provided. Optional — not required to book or buy anything. Up to 4 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms & Privacy Policy.
Both boxes are unchecked by default, optional, and shown in full on the page at the moment of opt-in. Ticking the appointment box never signs anyone up for promotional texts. A third, separate box on the same step covers promotional emails only.
To see them live: open thatgirlsnails.com/book, pick any set, continue past the optional add-ons, pick any date and time, and continue to “Your Details”. The checkboxes sit below the name, phone, email, notes and photo fields.

What Messages We Send
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and reschedule or cancellation notices — only to phone numbers that ticked the appointment box
- Promotional texts about specials and new services, up to 4 per month — only to phone numbers that ticked the separate promotional box
Message Frequency and Rates
- Message frequency varies. Promotional texts are limited to 4 per month.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
Opt-Out and Help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
- Reply HELP for help, or email us at thatgirlsnailsdtx@gmail.com.
Your Information
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services, and the service providers that run and store our booking records solely on our behalf and may not use the information for any other purpose.
